Stock market update: Nifty Realty index advances 0.12%

NEW DELHI: The Nifty Realty index closed on a positive note on Thursday.
Shares of SOBHA(up 1.66 per cent), Brigade Enterprises(up 0.84 per cent), Mahindra Lifespace Developers(up 0.51 per cent), Macrotech Developers(up 0.46 per cent) and Prestige Estates Projects(up 0.31 per cent) ended the day as top gainers in the pack.
On the other hand, Oberoi Realty(down 0.33 per cent), Phoenix Mills(down 0.11 per cent) and DLF(down 0.07 per cent) finished as the top losers of the day.
The Nifty Realty index closed 0.12 per cent up at 534.1.
Benchmark NSE Nifty50 index ended down 99.75 points at 19365.25, while the BSE Sensex stood down 388.4 points at 65151.02.
Among the 50 stocks in the Nifty index, 17 ended in the green, while 33 closed in the red.
Shares of Indian Railway Fin, Vodafone Idea, Suzlon Energy, YES Bank and PNB were among the most traded shares on the NSE.
Shares of BF Utilities, Megasoft, eMudhra, Umang Dairies and D P Wires hit their fresh 52-week highs in today's trade, while Godha Cabcon & Insul, Penta Gold, Oriana Power, Transindia Real Esta and Richa Info Systems L hit their fresh 52-week lows.
Shares of SOBHA(up 1.66 per cent), Brigade Enterprises(up 0.84 per cent), Mahindra Lifespace Developers(up 0.51 per cent), Macrotech Developers(up 0.46 per cent) and Prestige Estates Projects(up 0.31 per cent) ended the day as top gainers in the pack.
