Stock market update: Nifty Realty index advances 0.12% in an upbeat market

NEW DELHI: The Nifty Realty index traded positive around 10:34AM(IST)on Thursday in an upbeat market.

Brigade Enterprises Ltd.(up 2.49 per cent), Phoenix Mills Ltd.(up 1.56 per cent), Mahindra Lifespace Developers Ltd.(up 1.05 per cent) and Sobha Ltd.(up 0.49 per cent) were among the top gainers.

Sunteck Realty Ltd.(down 1.11 per cent), Prestige Estates Projects Ltd.(down 0.86 per cent), Godrej Properties Ltd.(down 0.73 per cent), DLF Ltd.(down 0.56 per cent) and Oberoi Realty Ltd.(down 0.34 per cent) were the top losers on the index.


The Nifty Realty index was up 0.12 per cent at 1115.2 at the time of writing this report.

Benchmark NSE Nifty50 index was up 43.85 points at 24330.35, while the BSE Sensex was up 158.8 points at 80145.6.

Among the 50 stocks in the Nifty index, 28 were trading in the green, while 22 were in the red.

Shares of Vodafone Idea, HUDCO, HFCL, Indian Renewable and Inox Wind Ltd. were among the most traded shares on the NSE.

Shares of IFB Agro, Country Club, Skipper Ltd(PP), Prime Focus and Sunflag Iron hit their fresh 52-week highs in today's trade, while Future Supply Chain, Welspun Investments, GIR Natureview, IndInfravit Trust and Ahimsa Ind hit fresh 52-week lows in trade.
