Stock market update: Nifty Realty index advances 0.08% in a weak market

NEW DELHI: The Nifty Realty index traded positive around 10:24AM(IST)on Tuesday in a weak market.

Mahindra Lifespace Developers(up 1.05 per cent), Godrej Properties(up 0.61 per cent), DLF(up 0.43 per cent), Oberoi Realty(up 0.18 per cent) and Indiabulls Real Estate(up 0.16 per cent) were among the top gainers.

SOBHA(down 1.25 per cent), Brigade Enterprises(down 1.02 per cent), Macrotech Developers(down 0.63 per cent) and Prestige Estates Projects(down 0.25 per cent) were the top losers on the index.


The Nifty Realty index was up 0.08 per cent at 513.75 at the time of writing this report.

Benchmark NSE Nifty50 index was down 64.9 points at 18690.55, while the BSE Sensex was down 268.81 points at 62899.49.

Among the 50 stocks in the Nifty index, 16 were trading in the green, while 32 were in the red.

Shares of Reliance Power, Suzlon Energy, Alok Industries, Vodafone Idea and Central Bank were among the most traded shares on the NSE.

Shares of Subros, Keerti Knowledge, Oil Country Tub, Crest Ventures and Krishca Strapping So hit their fresh 52-week highs in today's trade, while Rachana Infrastructu, Sahana System, Kore Digital, Arshiya and Reliance Comm hit fresh 52-week lows in trade.
