Stock market update: Nifty Realty index advances 0.06% in a weak market

NEW DELHI: The Nifty Realty index traded positive around 10:50AM(IST)on Friday in a weak market.

Phoenix Mills(up 3.04 per cent), Oberoi Realty(up 0.6 per cent) and Brigade Enterprises(up 0.57 per cent) were among the top gainers.

DLF(down 0.82 per cent), Indiabulls Real Estate(down 0.8 per cent), Macrotech Developers(down 0.69 per cent) and Godrej Properties(down 0.26 per cent) were the top losers on the index.


The Nifty Realty index was up 0.06 per cent at 428.45 at the time of writing this report.

Benchmark NSE Nifty50 index was down 13.45 points at 16581.45, while the BSE Sensex was down 12.04 points at 55452.35.

Among the 50 stocks in the Nifty index, 20 were trading in the green, while 30 were in the red.

Shares of Vodafone Idea, Reliance Power, SAIL, Tata Motors and YES Bank were among the most traded shares on the NSE.

Shares of ICE Make Refr, Vaidya Sane Ayurved Laboratories Ltd., Nahar Poly Film, BSE and Kernex Microsys hit their fresh 52-week highs in today's trade, while Vivo Collaboration Solutions Ltd., Akash Infra-Proj, Easun Reyrolle, Usha Martin and Megastar Foods hit fresh 52-week lows in trade.
