Stock market update: Nifty Realty index advances 0.03%

NEW DELHI: The Nifty Realty index closed on a positive note on Wednesday.
Shares of Macrotech Developers(up 1.9 per cent), SOBHA(up 0.94 per cent), Godrej Properties(up 0.84 per cent) and DLF(up 0.27 per cent) ended the day as top gainers in the pack.
On the other hand, Phoenix Mills(down 1.6 per cent), Brigade Enterprises(down 1.53 per cent), Indiabulls Real Estate(down 1.23 per cent), Prestige Estates Projects(down 0.77 per cent) and Sunteck Realty(down 0.5 per cent) finished as the top losers of the day.
The Nifty Realty index closed 0.03 per cent up at 430.95.
Benchmark NSE Nifty50 index ended up 112.05 points at 18165.35, while the BSE Sensex stood up 390.02 points at 61045.74.
Among the 50 stocks in the Nifty index, 38 ended in the green, while 12 closed in the red.
Shares of YES Bank, Zomato Ltd., PNB, Tata Steel and FSN E-Comm(Nykaa)were among the most traded shares on the NSE.
Shares of TVS Electronics, Homesfy Realty Ltd., Atul Auto, JTL Infra and Generic Engg hit their fresh 52-week highs in today's trade, while Anlon Technology Solutions Ltd., Nureca Ltd., Chaman Metallics Ltd., Ballarpur Inds. and Nakoda Group Of Ind hit their fresh 52-week lows.
