Stock market update: Nifty Realty index advances 0.02% in an upbeat market

NEW DELHI: The Nifty Realty index traded positive around 10:19AM(IST)on Wednesday in an upbeat market.

Prestige Estates Projects(up 1.7 per cent), Phoenix Mills(up 0.29 per cent) and Indiabulls Real Estate(up 0.28 per cent) were among the top gainers.

Macrotech Developers(down 0.5 per cent), Oberoi Realty(down 0.43 per cent), Godrej Properties(down 0.26 per cent), DLF(down 0.11 per cent) and Brigade Enterprises(down 0.09 per cent) were the top losers on the index.


The Nifty Realty index was up 0.02 per cent at 463.5 at the time of writing this report.

Benchmark NSE Nifty50 index was up 20.5 points at 18663.25, while the BSE Sensex was up 108.13 points at 62734.49.

Among the 50 stocks in the Nifty index, 21 were trading in the green, while 29 were in the red.

Shares of Central Bank, Suzlon Energy, UCO Bank, YES Bank and PNB were among the most traded shares on the NSE.

Shares of Sarveshwar Foods, TCPL Packaging, Central Bank, B L Kashyap and Krishna Defence and Allied Industries Ltd. hit their fresh 52-week highs in today's trade, while AAA Technologies, Sanwaria Consumer, DJ Mediaprint & Logi and Future Consumer hit fresh 52-week lows in trade.
