Stock market update: Nifty Realty index advances 0.02% in an upbeat market

NEW DELHI: The Nifty Realty index traded positive around 10:19AM(IST)on Friday in an upbeat market.

Mahindra Lifespace Developers Ltd.(up 3.06 per cent), Swan Energy Ltd.(up 1.21 per cent), Prestige Estates Projects Ltd.(up 1.03 per cent), Oberoi Realty Ltd.(up 0.72 per cent) and Godrej Properties Ltd.(up 0.41 per cent) were among the top gainers.

Phoenix Mills Ltd.(down 1.8 per cent) and Macrotech Developers Ltd.(down 0.88 per cent) were the top losers on the index.


The Nifty Realty index was up 0.02 per cent at 910.7 at the time of writing this report.

Benchmark NSE Nifty50 index was up 213.86 points at 22196.65, while the BSE Sensex was up 721.29 points at 73221.59.

Among the 50 stocks in the Nifty index, 40 were trading in the green, while 10 were in the red.

Shares of Vodafone Idea, YES Bank, SAIL, NHPC and Zomato were among the most traded shares on the NSE.

Shares of Kalyani Steels, Rico Auto, Signpost India, Diamines Chem and Archies Ltd hit their fresh 52-week highs in today's trade, while GPT Healthcare, Lakshmi Precis, Regency Ceramic, Vaxtex Cotfab and Rajdarshan Ind hit fresh 52-week lows in trade.
