Stock market update: Nifty Realty index advances 0.02% in an upbeat market

NEW DELHI: The Nifty Realty index traded positive around 10:19AM(IST)on Monday in an upbeat market.

Mahindra Lifespace Developers(up 1.31 per cent), Phoenix Mills(up 1.15 per cent), SOBHA(up 0.97 per cent), Brigade Enterprises(up 0.55 per cent) and Indiabulls Real Estate(up 0.5 per cent) were among the top gainers.

Godrej Properties(down 0.87 per cent), DLF(down 0.34 per cent), Prestige Estates Projects(down 0.32 per cent) and Oberoi Realty(down 0.19 per cent) were the top losers on the index.


The Nifty Realty index was up 0.02 per cent at 520.1 at the time of writing this report.

Benchmark NSE Nifty50 index was up 129.35 points at 19318.4, while the BSE Sensex was up 457.66 points at 65176.22.

Among the 50 stocks in the Nifty index, 26 were trading in the green, while 23 were in the red.

Shares of Suzlon Energy, Vodafone Idea, Reliance Power, YES Bank and Brightcom Group were among the most traded shares on the NSE.

Shares of ADF Foods, Starteck Finance, Kore Digital, The Hi-Tech Gears and Suzlon Energy hit their fresh 52-week highs in today's trade, while Sanwaria Consumer, Gammon Infra, JBF Industries, Latteys Industries and CMI Ltd hit fresh 52-week lows in trade.
