Stock market update: Nifty Realty index advances 0.02% in a weak market

NEW DELHI: The Nifty Realty index traded positive around 11:03AM(IST)on Thursday in a weak market.
Oberoi Realty Ltd.(up 1.67 per cent), Godrej Properties Ltd.(up 1.33 per cent), DLF Ltd.(up 1.0 per cent), Mahindra Lifespace Developers Ltd.(up 0.18 per cent) and Brigade Enterprises Ltd.(up 0.18 per cent) were among the top gainers.
Sunteck Realty Ltd.(down 2.15 per cent), Macrotech Developers Ltd.(down 2.14 per cent), Prestige Estates Projects Ltd.(down 1.22 per cent), Phoenix Mills Ltd.(down 0.82 per cent) and Sobha Ltd.(down 0.62 per cent) were the top losers on the index.
The Nifty Realty index was up 0.02 per cent at 997.35 at the time of writing this report.
Benchmark NSE Nifty50 index was down 30.55 points at 24404.95, while the BSE Sensex was down 32.86 points at 80049.12.
Among the 50 stocks in the Nifty index, 29 were trading in the green, while 21 were in the red.
Shares of Vodafone Idea, Piramal Pharma, JP Power, PNB and YES Bank were among the most traded shares on the NSE.
Shares of CARE Ratings, Piramal Pharma, The Investment Trust of India, EPACK Durables and ABM International hit their fresh 52-week highs in today's trade, while Vinny Overseas, Rossell India, Goldstone Tech, Kamdhenu Ventures and Lancor Holdings hit fresh 52-week lows in trade.
