Stock market update: Nifty Realty index 2.14%

NEW DELHI: The Nifty Realty index closed on a note on Wednesday.
Shares of Macrotech Developers Ltd.(up 5.78 per cent), Oberoi Realty Ltd.(up 5.07 per cent), Prestige Estates Projects Ltd.(up 2.7 per cent), Mahindra Lifespace Developers Ltd.(up 1.61 per cent) and Godrej Properties Ltd.(up 1.32 per cent) ended the day as top gainers in the pack.
On the other hand, finished as the top losers of the day.
The Nifty Realty index closed 2.14 per cent at 1077.15.
Benchmark NSE Nifty50 index ended up 10.3 points at 24467.45, while the BSE Sensex stood 110.58 points at 80956.33.
Among the 50 stocks in the Nifty index, 22 ended in the green, while 28 closed in the red.
Shares of Vodafone Idea, YES Bank, Ola Electric Mobilit, JP Power and Suzlon Energy were among the most traded shares on the NSE.
Shares of Niva Bupa Health Ins, Bang Overseas, Lincoln Pharma, HEG and Shivalik Rasayan hit their fresh 52-week highs in today's trade, while Dhanvarsha Finvest, Rajesh Exports, Aki India, Capital Small Finance Bank and GIR Natureview hit their fresh 52-week lows.
