Stock market update: Nifty Realty index 1.5% in a weak market

NEW DELHI: The Nifty Realty index traded around 10:09AM(IST)on Friday in a weak market.
Macrotech Developers Ltd.(up 5.25 per cent), Prestige Estates Projects Ltd.(up 1.48 per cent), DLF Ltd.(up 1.46 per cent), Oberoi Realty Ltd.(up 1.38 per cent) and Godrej Properties Ltd.(up 1.12 per cent) were among the top gainers.
Brigade Enterprises Ltd.(down 0.63 per cent) and Phoenix Mills Ltd.(down 0.12 per cent) were the top losers on the index.
The Nifty Realty index was 1.5 per cent at 941.00 at the time of writing this report.
Benchmark NSE Nifty50 index was down 92.35 points at 23219.45, while the BSE Sensex was 390.76 points at 76652.06.
Among the 50 stocks in the Nifty index, 31 were trading in the green, while 19 were in the red.
Shares of Vodafone Idea, HFCL, YES Bank, IRFC and Zomato were among the most traded shares on the NSE.
Shares of Quadrant Future Tek, TCPL Packaging, Atlas Cycles, California Soft and Orient Technologies hit their fresh 52-week highs in today's trade, while Axis Bank, Noida Toll Bridge Co, Peria Karamalai Tea, NRB Industrial and GI Engineering hit fresh 52-week lows in trade.
