Stock market update: Nifty Realty index 1.18% in a weak market

NEW DELHI: The Nifty Realty index traded around 10:04AM(IST)on Thursday in a weak market.

Phoenix Mills Ltd.(up 0.39 per cent) were among the top gainers.

Sobha Ltd.(down 2.84 per cent), Oberoi Realty Ltd.(down 2.19 per cent), DLF Ltd.(down 1.59 per cent), Macrotech Developers Ltd.(down 1.49 per cent) and Prestige Estates Projects Ltd.(down 1.07 per cent) were the top losers on the index.


The Nifty Realty index was 1.18 per cent at 1006.45 at the time of writing this report.

Benchmark NSE Nifty50 index was down 82.75 points at 23606.2, while the BSE Sensex was 253.67 points at 77894.82.

Among the 50 stocks in the Nifty index, 11 were trading in the green, while 39 were in the red.

Shares of Vodafone Idea, Manappuram Finance, Vishal Mega Mart, YES Bank and Zomato were among the most traded shares on the NSE.

Shares of Navin Fluorine, Genesys Intnl, Power & Instrument, Kalyani Forge and Indo Thai Sec hit their fresh 52-week highs in today's trade, while K P Energy Ltd., Palred Technologies, Mamata Machinery, Odigma Consultancy and Golden Tobacco hit fresh 52-week lows in trade.
