Stock market update: Nifty Realty index 0.96% in an upbeat market

NEW DELHI: The Nifty Realty index traded around 10:59AM(IST)on Wednesday in an upbeat market.

Oberoi Realty Ltd.(up 4.34 per cent), Phoenix Mills Ltd.(up 1.79 per cent), Raymond Ltd.(up 1.77 per cent), Macrotech Developers Ltd.(up 1.76 per cent) and Mahindra Lifespace Developers Ltd.(up 1.07 per cent) were among the top gainers.

Godrej Properties Ltd.(down 1.07 per cent) and DLF Ltd.(down 0.07 per cent) were the top losers on the index.


The Nifty Realty index was 0.96 per cent at 1064.75 at the time of writing this report.

Benchmark NSE Nifty50 index was up 79.35 points at 24536.5, while the BSE Sensex was 312.05 points at 81157.8.

Among the 50 stocks in the Nifty index, 29 were trading in the green, while 21 were in the red.

Shares of Vodafone Idea, Ola Electric Mobilit, NTPC Green Energy, YES Bank and JP Power were among the most traded shares on the NSE.

Shares of Niva Bupa Health Ins, HEG, Bang Overseas, Shivalik Rasayan and Medplus Health Serv hit their fresh 52-week highs in today's trade, while Dhanvarsha Finvest, Akshar Spintex, Capital Small Finance Bank, Stampede Cap(DVR)and Naga Dhunseri Group hit fresh 52-week lows in trade.
