Stock market update: Nifty Realty index 0.84% in a weak market

NEW DELHI: The Nifty Realty index traded around 10:33AM(IST)on Monday in a weak market.
Brigade Enterprises Ltd.(up 4.33 per cent), Sunteck Realty Ltd.(up 3.45 per cent), Phoenix Mills Ltd.(up 3.39 per cent), Macrotech Developers Ltd.(up 2.21 per cent) and Sobha Ltd.(up 0.79 per cent) were among the top gainers.
Oberoi Realty Ltd.(down 1.86 per cent), Mahindra Lifespace Developers Ltd.(down 0.75 per cent) and Prestige Estates Projects Ltd.(down 0.73 per cent) were the top losers on the index.
The Nifty Realty index was 0.84 per cent at 954.90 at the time of writing this report.
Benchmark NSE Nifty50 index was down 134.91 points at 23397.8, while the BSE Sensex was 470.08 points at 77110.23.
Among the 50 stocks in the Nifty index, 17 were trading in the green, while 33 were in the red.
Shares of Vodafone Idea, Suzlon Energy, IGL, NALCO and Zomato were among the most traded shares on the NSE.
Shares of Nalwa Sons Invst, Garware Tech, Orient Technologies, Themis Medicare and Banco Products hit their fresh 52-week highs in today's trade, while Honasa Consumer, IGL, Ahlada Engineers, Sanghvi Movers and Hinduja Global hit fresh 52-week lows in trade.
