Stock market update: Nifty Realty index 0.63% in a weak market

NEW DELHI: The Nifty Realty index traded around 10:09AM(IST)on Friday in a weak market.

Oberoi Realty Ltd.(up 1.07 per cent) and Mahindra Lifespace Developers Ltd.(up 0.22 per cent) were among the top gainers.

Brigade Enterprises Ltd.(down 1.76 per cent), Macrotech Developers Ltd.(down 1.29 per cent), Sobha Ltd.(down 1.06 per cent), Phoenix Mills Ltd.(down 0.95 per cent) and Prestige Estates Projects Ltd.(down 0.87 per cent) were the top losers on the index.


The Nifty Realty index was 0.63 per cent at 1096.30 at the time of writing this report.

Benchmark NSE Nifty50 index was down 129.41 points at 23822.3, while the BSE Sensex was 510.24 points at 78707.81.

Among the 50 stocks in the Nifty index, 14 were trading in the green, while 36 were in the red.

Shares of Vodafone Idea, JP Power, Vishal Mega Mart, Sagility India and YES Bank were among the most traded shares on the NSE.

Shares of Sambhaav Media, Times Guaranty, Garuda Construction, Salzer Electro and Silly Monks Entertainment hit their fresh 52-week highs in today's trade, while Sanghi Ind, Digjam, Odigma Consultancy, Vishal Mega Mart and Excel Realty N Infra hit fresh 52-week lows in trade.
