Stock market update: Nifty Realty index 0.53% in a weak market

NEW DELHI: The Nifty Realty index traded around 09:59AM(IST)on Friday in a weak market.

Oberoi Realty Ltd.(up 0.17 per cent) and Godrej Properties Ltd.(up 0.08 per cent) were among the top gainers.

Macrotech Developers Ltd.(down 1.79 per cent), Phoenix Mills Ltd.(down 1.17 per cent), Brigade Enterprises Ltd.(down 0.62 per cent), Sobha Ltd.(down 0.6 per cent) and Prestige Estates Projects Ltd.(down 0.47 per cent) were the top losers on the index.


The Nifty Realty index was 0.53 per cent at 991.25 at the time of writing this report.

Benchmark NSE Nifty50 index was down 24.4 points at 24174.95, while the BSE Sensex was 23.7 points at 79518.09.

Among the 50 stocks in the Nifty index, 25 were trading in the green, while 25 were in the red.

Shares of Vodafone Idea, ITI Ltd, SAIL, Tata Steel and JP Power were among the most traded shares on the NSE.

Shares of Tera Software, Windsor Machine, JSW Holdings, Shiva Texyarn and Adroit Infotech hit their fresh 52-week highs in today's trade, while Prince Pipes, Shrenik, Stampede Cap, Antarctica Ltd and Rollatainers Ltd hit fresh 52-week lows in trade.
