Stock market update: Nifty Realty index 0.51% in an upbeat market

NEW DELHI: The Nifty Realty index traded around 11:26AM(IST)on Monday in an upbeat market.

Phoenix Mills Ltd.(up 3.12 per cent), Macrotech Developers Ltd.(up 1.06 per cent) and Prestige Estates Projects Ltd.(up 0.95 per cent) were among the top gainers.

Sobha Ltd.(down 2.79 per cent), Mahindra Lifespace Developers Ltd.(down 0.53 per cent), Brigade Enterprises Ltd.(down 0.51 per cent), Raymond Ltd.(down 0.44 per cent) and Oberoi Realty Ltd.(down 0.27 per cent) were the top losers on the index.


The Nifty Realty index was 0.51 per cent at 1076.80 at the time of writing this report.

Benchmark NSE Nifty50 index was up 9.3 points at 23822.7, while the BSE Sensex was 86.43 points at 78785.5.

Among the 50 stocks in the Nifty index, 27 were trading in the green, while 23 were in the red.

Shares of Vodafone Idea, JP Power, ITI Ltd, Sagility India and YES Bank were among the most traded shares on the NSE.

Shares of Worth Peripherals, Sundaram Brake, Laxmi Goldorna House, Kabra Extrusion and Arihant Superstructures hit their fresh 52-week highs in today's trade, while DAM Capital Advisors, Sanathan Textiles, Odigma Consultancy, Hardwyn India and CMI Ltd hit fresh 52-week lows in trade.
