Stock market update: Nifty Realty index 0.47% in a weak market

NEW DELHI: The Nifty Realty index traded around 11:20AM(IST)on Thursday in a weak market.
Macrotech Developers Ltd.(up 0.81 per cent), Brigade Enterprises Ltd.(up 0.51 per cent), Phoenix Mills Ltd.(up 0.34 per cent) and Sobha Ltd.(up 0.31 per cent) were among the top gainers.
Mahindra Lifespace Developers Ltd.(down 2.16 per cent), Godrej Properties Ltd.(down 1.76 per cent), DLF Ltd.(down 1.24 per cent), Raymond Ltd.(down 1.19 per cent) and Prestige Estates Projects Ltd.(down 0.68 per cent) were the top losers on the index.
The Nifty Realty index was 0.47 per cent at 1089.20 at the time of writing this report.
Benchmark NSE Nifty50 index was down 38.05 points at 24603.75, while the BSE Sensex was 62.51 points at 81463.63.
Among the 50 stocks in the Nifty index, 16 were trading in the green, while 34 were in the red.
Shares of Vodafone Idea, Tata Teleservices, Bajaj Housing Fin, YES Bank and IRFC were among the most traded shares on the NSE.
Shares of DCM Ltd, Zinka Logistics Solu, Sintercom India, SoftTech Engineers and Mohit Inds hit their fresh 52-week highs in today's trade, while Axita Cotton, Mas Fin Services, Zenith Exports, U Y Fincorp and Bafna Pharma hit fresh 52-week lows in trade.
