Stock market update: Nifty Realty index 0.29% in an upbeat market

NEW DELHI: The Nifty Realty index traded around 10:14AM(IST)on Tuesday in an upbeat market.

Mahindra Lifespace Developers Ltd.(up 1.78 per cent), Brigade Enterprises Ltd.(up 1.7 per cent), Macrotech Developers Ltd.(up 1.37 per cent), Sobha Ltd.(up 1.35 per cent) and Raymond Ltd.(up 0.84 per cent) were among the top gainers.

Oberoi Realty Ltd.(down 0.61 per cent), DLF Ltd.(down 0.31 per cent) and Phoenix Mills Ltd.(down 0.22 per cent) were the top losers on the index.


The Nifty Realty index was 0.29 per cent at 1054.30 at the time of writing this report.

Benchmark NSE Nifty50 index was up 66.91 points at 24342.95, while the BSE Sensex was 233.6 points at 80481.68.

Among the 50 stocks in the Nifty index, 33 were trading in the green, while 17 were in the red.

Shares of Vodafone Idea, YES Bank, NTPC Green Energy, Ola Electric Mobilit and Suzlon Energy were among the most traded shares on the NSE.

Shares of Banaras Beads, Niva Bupa Health Ins, NTPC Green Energy, Enviro Infra Enginee and Mask Investments hit their fresh 52-week highs in today's trade, while Aki India, Shree Ram Proteins, Excel Realty N Infra, Antarctica Ltd and Ind-Swift Labs hit fresh 52-week lows in trade.
