Stock market update: Nifty Realty index 0.29% in an upbeat market

NEW DELHI: The Nifty Realty index traded around 11:11AM(IST)on Friday in an upbeat market.
Raymond Ltd.(up 1.79 per cent), DLF Ltd.(up 0.77 per cent), Macrotech Developers Ltd.(up 0.74 per cent), Mahindra Lifespace Developers Ltd.(up 0.66 per cent) and Brigade Enterprises Ltd.(up 0.35 per cent) were among the top gainers.
Oberoi Realty Ltd.(down 1.94 per cent), Godrej Properties Ltd.(down 1.36 per cent), Prestige Estates Projects Ltd.(down 1.33 per cent), Phoenix Mills Ltd.(down 0.75 per cent) and Sobha Ltd.(down 0.02 per cent) were the top losers on the index.
The Nifty Realty index was 0.29 per cent at 1022.40 at the time of writing this report.
Benchmark NSE Nifty50 index was up 202.1 points at 24116.25, while the BSE Sensex was 713.23 points at 79756.97.
Among the 50 stocks in the Nifty index, 41 were trading in the green, while 9 were in the red.
Shares of Vodafone Idea, YES Bank, JP Power, Ola Electric Mobilit and Zee Ent. were among the most traded shares on the NSE.
Shares of Soma Textiles, Pudumjee Paper Prod, Lloyds Metals, Sagility India and Praj Ind. hit their fresh 52-week highs in today's trade, while CreditAccess Grameen, Raghav Productivity, MITCON Const & Engg.(PP), Debock Sales & Mktg and Lakshmi Precis hit fresh 52-week lows in trade.
