Stock market update: Nifty Realty index 0.18%

NEW DELHI: The Nifty Realty index closed on a note on Wednesday.
Shares of Raymond Ltd.(up 3.51 per cent), DLF Ltd.(up 0.85 per cent), Macrotech Developers Ltd.(up 0.68 per cent), Godrej Properties Ltd.(up 0.48 per cent) and Phoenix Mills Ltd.(up 0.24 per cent) ended the day as top gainers in the pack.
On the other hand, Brigade Enterprises Ltd.(down 3.45 per cent), Mahindra Lifespace Developers Ltd.(down 2.74 per cent) and Sobha Ltd.(down 1.56 per cent) finished as the top losers of the day.
The Nifty Realty index closed 0.18 per cent at 1094.35.
Benchmark NSE Nifty50 index ended up 31.75 points at 24641.8, while the BSE Sensex stood 16.09 points at 81526.14.
Among the 50 stocks in the Nifty index, 26 ended in the green, while 24 closed in the red.
Shares of Vodafone Idea, IRFC, Ola Electric Mobilit, YES Bank and Sagility India were among the most traded shares on the NSE.
Shares of Laxmi Goldorna House, SoftTech Engineers, Kridhan Infra, Ashapura Minechem and Mohit Inds hit their fresh 52-week highs in today's trade, while WABCO India, U Y Fincorp, Axita Cotton, Blue Coast Hotel and Rossell Techsys hit their fresh 52-week lows.
