Stock market update: Nifty Realty index 0.05%

NEW DELHI: The Nifty Realty index closed on a note on Friday.
Shares of DLF Ltd.(up 0.78 per cent), Oberoi Realty Ltd.(up 0.62 per cent), Brigade Enterprises Ltd.(up 0.47 per cent), Raymond Ltd.(up 0.37 per cent) and Prestige Estates Projects Ltd.(up 0.24 per cent) ended the day as top gainers in the pack.
On the other hand, Phoenix Mills Ltd.(down 1.87 per cent), Sobha Ltd.(down 0.98 per cent), Godrej Properties Ltd.(down 0.7 per cent) and Mahindra Lifespace Developers Ltd.(down 0.05 per cent) finished as the top losers of the day.
The Nifty Realty index closed 0.05 per cent at 1073.90.
Benchmark NSE Nifty50 index ended down 30.61 points at 24677.8, while the BSE Sensex stood 56.74 points at 81709.12.
Among the 50 stocks in the Nifty index, 21 ended in the green, while 29 closed in the red.
Shares of Vodafone Idea, YES Bank, ITI Ltd, NHPC and JP Power were among the most traded shares on the NSE.
Shares of Goldiam Intnl, Bajaj Healthcare, Dhani Services, Robust Hotels and Tilaknagar Ind hit their fresh 52-week highs in today's trade, while Dhanvarsha Finvest, GIR Natureview, BDR Buildcon, IndInfravit Trust and 3rd Rock MultiMedia hit their fresh 52-week lows.
