NEW DELHI: The Nifty Realty index closed on a note on Thursday.
Shares of Prestige Estates Projects Ltd.(up 2.59 per cent), Oberoi Realty Ltd.(up 1.35 per cent), Brigade Enterprises Ltd.(up 0.74 per cent) and Phoenix Mills Ltd.(up 0.41 per cent) ended the day as top gainers in the pack.
On the other hand, DLF Ltd.(down 1.2 per cent), Raymond Ltd.(down 1.05 per cent), Macrotech Developers Ltd.(down 0.72 per cent), Godrej Properties Ltd.(down 0.65 per cent) and Sobha Ltd.(down 0.24 per cent) finished as the top losers of the day.
The Nifty Realty index closed 0.04 per cent at 1025.35.
Benchmark NSE Nifty50 index ended down 360.75 points at 23914.15, while the BSE Sensex stood 1190.34 points at 79043.74.
Among the 50 stocks in the Nifty index, 4 ended in the green, while 46 closed in the red.
Shares of Vodafone Idea, Ola Electric Mobilit, JP Power, NTPC Green Energy and YES Bank were among the most traded shares on the NSE.
Shares of Bliss GVS Pharma, Deep Industries, ACME Solar Holdings, Kronox Lab Sciences and Pix Trans hit their fresh 52-week highs in today's trade, while Debock Sales & Mktg, Dhanvarsha Finvest, Kuantum Papers, Krishana Phoschem and SVP Global hit their fresh 52-week lows.
