Stock market update: Nifty Pharma index flat 0.0% in an upbeat market

NEW DELHI: The Nifty Pharma index traded flat around 10:09AM(IST)on Thursday in an upbeat market.
Dr. Reddy's Laboratories Ltd.(up 0.79 per cent), Zydus Lifesciences Ltd.(up 0.67 per cent), Pfizer Ltd.(up 0.64 per cent), Alkem Laboratories Ltd.(up 0.59 per cent) and Abbott India Ltd.(up 0.43 per cent) were among the top gainers.
Granules India Ltd.(down 0.91 per cent), Divi's Laboratories Ltd.(down 0.81 per cent), Torrent Pharmaceuticals Ltd.(down 0.67 per cent), Aurobindo Pharma Ltd.(down 0.45 per cent) and Lupin Ltd.(down 0.36 per cent) were the top losers on the index.
The Nifty Pharma index was flat 0.0 per cent at 15067.8 at the time of writing this report.
Benchmark NSE Nifty50 index was up 95.25 points at 19531.35, while the BSE Sensex was up 349.87 points at 65575.91.
Among the 50 stocks in the Nifty index, 35 were trading in the green, while 15 were in the red.
Shares of Suzlon Energy, JP Power, IOB, PNB and Zomato were among the most traded shares on the NSE.
Shares of SoftTech Engineers, RKEC Projects, KCP Ltd, Goodluck India and Apollo Micro Systems hit their fresh 52-week highs in today's trade, while Shree Ram Proteins, Navin Fluorine, Winsome Yarns, SVP Global and The Grob Tea Company hit fresh 52-week lows in trade.
