Stock market update: Nifty Pharma index falls 1.66% in a weak market
The Nifty Pharma index was trading 1.66 per cent down at 13344.25.

NEW DELHI: The Nifty Pharma index traded negative around 10:49AM(IST)on Monday in a weak market.
Torrent Pharmaceuticals(up 0.28 per cent) and Biocon(up 0.08 per cent) were among the top gainers.
Zydus Lifesciences(down 3.46 per cent), Pfizer(down 3.13 per cent), Lupin(down 2.9 per cent), Strides Pharma Science(down 2.56 per cent) and Divis Laboratories(down 2.28 per cent) were the top losers on the index.
The Nifty Pharma index was down 1.66 per cent at 13344.25 at the time of writing this report.
Benchmark NSE Nifty50 index was down 164.35 points at 17007.6, while the BSE Sensex was down 458.21 points at 56738.94.
Among the 50 stocks in the Nifty index, 7 were trading in the green, while 43 were in the red.
Shares of Vodafone Idea, Shree Ren Sug, YES Bank, SAIL and Suzlon Energy were among the most traded shares on the NSE.
Shares of Gokul Refoils, De Nora India, Rajshree Sugars, Marathon Nextgen and Krishna Defence and Allied Industries Ltd. hit their fresh 52-week highs in today's trade, while FutureLifestyleFash, Future Supply Chain, Future Consumer, Future Market and Jeena Sikho Lifecare Ltd. hit fresh 52-week lows in trade.
