Stock market update: Nifty Pharma index falls 0.91% in a weak market
The Nifty Pharma index was trading 0.91 per cent down at 13452.8.

NEW DELHI: The Nifty Pharma index traded negative around 10:19AM(IST)on Wednesday in a weak market.
Granules India(up 0.67 per cent), Cadila Healthcare(up 0.26 per cent), Cipla(up 0.13 per cent) and Alembic Pharmaceuticals(up 0.06 per cent) were among the top gainers.
Pfizer(down 3.09 per cent), Divis Laboratories(down 2.16 per cent), Lupin(down 1.75 per cent), Natco Pharma(down 1.15 per cent) and Dr Reddys Laboratories(down 1.13 per cent) were the top losers on the index.
The Nifty Pharma index was down 0.91 per cent at 13452.8 at the time of writing this report.
Benchmark NSE Nifty50 index was down 74.6 points at 17250.3, while the BSE Sensex was down 256.02 points at 57861.07.
Among the 50 stocks in the Nifty index, 17 were trading in the green, while 33 were in the red.
Shares of Vodafone Idea, YES Bank, SAIL, Alok Industries and Indian Energy Exchg were among the most traded shares on the NSE.
Shares of Pearl Polymers, NACL Industries, Bhartiya Intnl, Expleo Solutions and BSL Ltd hit their fresh 52-week highs in today's trade, while Patel Integrat(PP), Star Health, Vikas Multicorp(PP), SJS Enterprises Ltd. and Dhruv Consultancy hit fresh 52-week lows in trade.
