Stock market update: Nifty Pharma index falls 0.13% in a weak market
The Nifty Pharma index was trading 0.13 per cent down at 12903.25.

NEW DELHI: The Nifty Pharma index traded negative around 11:05AM(IST)on Thursday in a weak market.
Alkem Laboratories(up 1.66 per cent), Abbott India(up 1.02 per cent), Sun Pharmaceutical Industries(up 0.93 per cent), Gland Pharma(up 0.77 per cent) and Torrent Pharmaceuticals(up 0.37 per cent) were among the top gainers.
Granules India(down 2.73 per cent), Laurus(down 1.56 per cent), Pfizer(down 1.49 per cent), Glenmark Pharmaceuticals(down 1.48 per cent) and Aurobindo Pharma(down 1.46 per cent) were the top losers on the index.
The Nifty Pharma index was down 0.13 per cent at 12903.25 at the time of writing this report.
Benchmark NSE Nifty50 index was down 88.65 points at 18110.45, while the BSE Sensex was down 266.73 points at 60800.51.
Among the 50 stocks in the Nifty index, 7 were trading in the green, while 42 were in the red.
Shares of YES Bank, Suzlon Energy, PNB, IOB and JP Power were among the most traded shares on the NSE.
Shares of Goldstar Power, Arvee Laboratories, Vasa Retail & Overse, Abbott India and Jindal Worldwide hit their fresh 52-week highs in today's trade, while Ishan International Ltd., Ducon Infra, Airan Ltd., CMI Ltd and Dharmaj Crop Guard Ltd. hit fresh 52-week lows in trade.
