Stock market update: Nifty Bank index falls 0.31% in a weak market
The Nifty Bank index was trading 0.31 per cent down at 42327.3.

NEW DELHI: The Nifty Bank index traded negative around 11:11AM(IST)on Thursday in a weak market.
HDFC Bank(up 0.43 per cent) and Axis Bank(up 0.24 per cent) were among the top gainers.
Bandhan Bank(down 1.5 per cent), IndusInd Bank(down 1.08 per cent), Kotak Mahindra Bank(down 0.84 per cent), Bank of Baroda(down 0.76 per cent) and ICICI Bank(down 0.72 per cent) were the top losers on the index.
The Nifty Bank index was down 0.31 per cent at 42327.3 at the time of writing this report.
Benchmark NSE Nifty50 index was down 43.7 points at 18121.65, while the BSE Sensex was down 126.91 points at 60918.83.
Among the 50 stocks in the Nifty index, 18 were trading in the green, while 32 were in the red.
Shares of Vodafone Idea, YES Bank, Suzlon Energy, Zomato Ltd. and PNB were among the most traded shares on the NSE.
Shares of Mold Tek Tech, Hisar Metal Ind, Chaman Lal Setia, Usha Martin and Landmark Cars Ltd. hit their fresh 52-week highs in today's trade, while Vikas Proppant & Gr, Anlon Technology Solutions Ltd., Chaman Metallics Ltd., Alok Industries and Nureca Ltd. hit fresh 52-week lows in trade.
