Stock market update: Nifty Auto index falls 0.9% in a weak market
The Nifty Auto index was trading 0.9 per cent down at 11595.9.

NEW DELHI: The Nifty Auto index traded negative around 09:59AM(IST)on Friday in a weak market.
Bosch(up 2.74 per cent), Sona BLW Precision Forgings(up 0.92 per cent) and Hero MotoCorp(up 0.64 per cent) were among the top gainers.
TIINDIA(down 2.86 per cent), Tata Motors(down 1.88 per cent), Bharat Forge(down 1.86 per cent), Bajaj Auto(down 1.1 per cent) and Eicher Motors(down 0.93 per cent) were the top losers on the index.
The Nifty Auto index was down 0.9 per cent at 11595.9 at the time of writing this report.
Benchmark NSE Nifty50 index was down 164.3 points at 15615.95, while the BSE Sensex was down 581.37 points at 52437.57.
Among the 50 stocks in the Nifty index, 19 were trading in the green, while 31 were in the red.
Shares of Zomato Ltd., Vodafone Idea, IDFC First Bank, ONGC and REC were among the most traded shares on the NSE.
Shares of Manorama Ind, Akshar Spintex, Imagicaaworld Entert, Global Education and Axita Cotton hit their fresh 52-week highs in today's trade, while Parag Milk Foods, Andhra Cements, Parsvnath Dev., Jubilant Life and Star Health hit fresh 52-week lows in trade.
