Stock market update: Nifty Auto index falls 0.68%

NEW DELHI: The Nifty Auto index closed on a negative note on Thursday.
Shares of Bosch(up 1.18 per cent), TIINDIA(up 1.09 per cent) and Balkrishna Industries(up 0.2 per cent) ended the day as top gainers in the pack.
On the other hand, Bajaj Auto(down 1.89 per cent), TVS Motor Company(down 1.21 per cent), Tata Motors(down 1.18 per cent), Bharat Forge(down 1.12 per cent) and Exide Industries(down 1.08 per cent) finished as the top losers of the day.
The Nifty Auto index closed 0.68 per cent down at 10755.65.
Benchmark NSE Nifty50 index ended down 9.65 points at 17203.95, while the BSE Sensex stood down 12.17 points at 57794.32.
Among the 50 stocks in the Nifty index, 22 ended in the green, while 27 closed in the red.
Shares of Vodafone Idea, RBL Bank, YES Bank, PNB and Power Grid were among the most traded shares on the NSE.
Shares of MSP Steel, Apollo Micro Systems, Pasupati Acrylon, Cybertech Sys and Kingfa Science Tech hit their fresh 52-week highs in today's trade, while RBL Bank, Jet Freight Logistic, Lumax Ind, Dynamic Services & Security Ltd. and Mas Fin Services hit their fresh 52-week lows.
