Stock market update: Nifty Auto index falls 0.37% in a weak market
The Nifty Auto index was trading 0.37 per cent down at 12770.75.

NEW DELHI: The Nifty Auto index traded negative around 09:59AM(IST)on Thursday in a weak market.
TVS Motor Company(up 1.17 per cent) and Bharat Forge(up 0.18 per cent) were among the top gainers.
TIINDIA(down 1.74 per cent), Sona BLW Precision Forgings(down 1.69 per cent), Tata Motors(down 0.82 per cent), Eicher Motors(down 0.78 per cent) and Ashok Leyland(down 0.64 per cent) were the top losers on the index.
The Nifty Auto index was down 0.37 per cent at 12770.75 at the time of writing this report.
Benchmark NSE Nifty50 index was down 67.9 points at 18097.45, while the BSE Sensex was down 212.08 points at 60833.66.
Among the 50 stocks in the Nifty index, 13 were trading in the green, while 37 were in the red.
Shares of Vodafone Idea, YES Bank, Suzlon Energy, PNB and Zomato Ltd. were among the most traded shares on the NSE.
Shares of Mold Tek Tech, RBM Infracon Ltd., Sarthak Metals, Touchwood Entertainm and Perfect Infraenginee hit their fresh 52-week highs in today's trade, while ABM International L, Anlon Technology Solutions Ltd., Chaman Metallics Ltd., Alok Industries and Nureca Ltd. hit fresh 52-week lows in trade.
