NEW DELHI: FMCG stocks were trading higher on Tuesday at 11:16AM
Gillette India Ltd.(up 4.33%), Gopal Snacks Ltd.(up 4.04%), Umang Dairies Ltd.(up 3.44%), Colgate-Palmolive(India)Ltd.(up 3.36%), Emami Ltd.(up 2.83%), Vadilal Industries Ltd.(up 2.55%), Godrej Consumer Products Ltd.(up 2.44%), Nakoda Group Of Industries Ltd.(up 2.42%), Nakoda Group Of Industries Ltd.(up 2.42%) and LT Foods Ltd.(up 2.05%) were among the top gainers.
Honasa Consumer Ltd.(down 1.05%), Mrs. Bectors Food Specialities Ltd.(down 0.92%), Prataap Snacks Ltd.(down 0.80%), Bikaji Foods International Ltd.(down 0.65%), Hindustan Foods Ltd.(down 0.46%), Procter & Gamble Hygiene & Healthcare Ltd.(down 0.40%), Sheetal Cool Products Ltd.(down 0.17%) and Dodla Dairy Ltd.(down 0.05%) were among the top losers.
The NSE Nifty50 index was trading 101.41 points up at 24226.95, while the 30-share BSE Sensex was up 372.78 points at 79781.28 at around 11:16AM.
Tata Consumer Products Ltd.(up 2.21%), Kotak Mahindra Bank Ltd.(up 2.03%), HDFC Bank Ltd.(up 1.97%), State Bank of India(up 1.71%), JSW Steel Ltd.(up 1.36%), Bharat Electronics Ltd.(up 1.32%), Mahindra & Mahindra Ltd.(up 1.22%), Adani Enterprises Ltd.(up 1.12%), Cipla Ltd.(up 1.02%) and Hindustan Unilever Ltd.(up 1.02%) were among the top gainers in the Nifty pack.
On the other hand, IndusInd Bank Ltd.(down 3.81%), Hero MotoCorp Ltd.(down 2.15%), Infosys Ltd.(down 1.69%), Bajaj Finserv Ltd.(down 1.52%), Bajaj Auto Ltd.(down 1.33%), Power Grid Corporation of India Ltd.(down 1.32%), Maruti Suzuki India Ltd.(down 0.78%), Oil And Natural Gas Corporation Ltd.(down 0.66%), Bharti Airtel Ltd.(down 0.56%) and Larsen & Toubro Ltd.(down 0.54%) were trading in the red.
