Stock market update: Fertilisers stocks up as market rises

NEW DELHI: Fertilisers stocks were trading higher on Monday at 10:35AM

Sikko Industries(up 2.82%), Southern Petrochemicals Industries(up 2.29%), Khaitan Chemicals & Fertilizers(up 2.25%), ZUARIAGRO(up 1.97%), National Fertilizer(up 1.64%), G S F C(up 1.48%), Bohra Industries(up 1.15%), Mangalore Chemicals & Fertilizers(up 0.99%), Chambal Fertilisers & Chemicals(up 0.81%) and Madras Fertlizers(up 0.56%) were among the top gainers.

Fertilizers & Chemicals Tranvancore(down 3.02%), Rama Phosphates(down 0.73%) and KRISHANA(down 0.25%) were among the top losers.


The NSE Nifty50 index was trading 224.45 points up at 18083.9, while the 30-share BSE Sensex was up 758.79 points at 60659.16 at around 10:35AM.

Tech Mahindra(up 3.25%), Tata Consultancy(up 3.12%), Mahindra & Mahindra(up 2.85%), HCL Technologies(up 2.39%), Bharti Airtel(up 2.37%), Wipro(up 2.33%), Infosys(up 2.25%), Tata Motors(up 2.13%), Hindalco Industries(up 1.91%) and Tata Steel(up 1.9%) were among the top gainers in the Nifty pack.

On the other hand, Titan Company Ltd(down 1.78%) and HDFC LIFE INSURANCE(down 0.04%) were trading in the red.
