Stock market update: Fertilisers stocks up as market rises

NEW DELHI: Fertilisers stocks were trading higher on Friday at 11:15AM

Khaitan Chemicals & Fertilizers(up 3.99%), Gujarat Narmada Valley Fertilizers (up 3.04%), Chambal Fertilisers & Chemicals(up 1.90%), Rama Phosphates(up 1.75%), Agro Phos(up 1.74%), Fertilizers & Chemicals Tranvancore(up 1.35%), Madhya Bharat Agro Products(up 1.35%), Aries Agro(up 1.31%), KRISHANA(up 1.27%) and Madras Fertlizers(up 1.10%) were among the top gainers.

Sikko Industries(down 3.99%) were among the top losers.


The NSE Nifty50 index was trading 280.7 points up at 17295.05, while the 30-share BSE Sensex was up 1026.24 points at 58261.57 at around 11:15AM.

Infosys(up 5.01%), HCL Technologies(up 3.65%), HDFC Bank(up 3.04%), Larsen & Toubro(up 2.71%), HDFC(up 2.66%), Tech Mahindra(up 2.52%), Kotak Mahindra Bank(up 2.47%), Titan Company Ltd(up 2.35%), UPL Ltd(up 2.32%) and ICICI Bank(up 1.94%) were among the top gainers in the Nifty pack.

On the other hand, Oil & Natural Gas Corporation(down 0.35%) and JSW Steel(down 0.25%) were trading in the red.
