Stock market update: Fertilisers stocks up as market rises

NEW DELHI: Fertilisers stocks were trading higher on Monday at 09:59AM

Aries Agro(up 3.40%), Madras Fertlizers(up 2.18%), Chambal Fertilisers & Chemicals(up 2.14%), Mangalore Chemicals & Fertilizers(up 2.05%), KRISHANA(up 1.81%), G S F C(up 1.69%), Gujarat Narmada Valley Fertilizers (up 1.67%), Coromandel International(up 1.66%), Fertilizers & Chemicals Tranvancore(up 1.57%) and Rashtriya Chemicals & Fertilizers(up 1.54%) were among the top gainers.

Southern Petrochemicals Industries(down 4.62%), Agro Phos(down 4.23%) and Sikko Industries(down 1.94%) were among the top losers.


The NSE Nifty50 index was trading 251.65 points up at 16604.1, while the 30-share BSE Sensex was up 912.04 points at 55796.7 at around 09:59AM.

Titan Company Ltd(up 3.2%), UPL Ltd(up 3.17%), Infosys(up 2.94%), HCL Technologies(up 2.63%), Adani Ports & Special Economic Zone(up 2.47%), Grasim Industries(up 2.47%), UltraTech Cement(up 2.39%), Reliance Industries(up 2.17%), Shree Cement(up 2.07%) and Tata Consultancy(up 2.02%) were among the top gainers in the Nifty pack.

On the other hand, JSW Steel(down 1.49%) and Dr Reddys Laboratories(down 0.19%) were trading in the red.
