Stock market update: Fertilisers stocks up as market rises

NEW DELHI: Fertilisers stocks were trading higher on Friday at 11:20AM
Gujarat Narmada Valley Fertilizers (up 5.70%), KRISHANA(up 5.68%), ZUARIAGRO(up 5.20%), Southern Petrochemicals Industries(up 3.62%), Aries Agro(up 3.25%), Rashtriya Chemicals & Fertilizers(up 3.21%), Nagarjuna Fertilizers & Chem(up 3.21%), Deepak Fertilizers & Petrochemicals(up 2.69%), Madras Fertlizers(up 2.65%) and Fertilizers & Chemicals Tranvancore(up 2.17%) were among the top gainers.
Agro Phos(down 4.93%), Madhya Bharat Agro Products(down 2.74%) and Chambal Fertilisers & Chemicals(down 1.19%) were among the top losers.
The NSE Nifty50 index was trading 363.5 points up at 16172.9, while the 30-share BSE Sensex was up 1187.47 points at 53979.7 at around 11:20AM.
Dr Reddys Laboratories(up 6.94%), Tata Motors(up 4.84%), JSW Steel(up 4.51%), Nestle India(up 4.16%), Adani Ports & Special Economic Zone(up 3.96%), Cipla(up 3.9%), Bajaj Auto(up 3.69%), Grasim Industries(up 3.3%), Hero MotoCorp(up 3.24%) and IndusInd Bank(up 3.22%) were among the top gainers in the Nifty pack.
On the other hand, Apollo Hospitals Enterprises(down 0.72%) and UPL Ltd(down 0.11%) were trading in the red.
