Stock market update: Fertilisers stocks up as market rises

NEW DELHI: Fertilisers stocks were trading higher on Thursday at 10:45AM
KRISHANA(up 17.95%), Madhya Bharat Agro Products(up 5.00%), Deepak Fertilizers & Petrochemicals(up 2.32%), Mangalore Chemicals & Fertilizers(up 1.79%), Madras Fertlizers(up 1.74%), Chambal Fertilisers & Chemicals(up 1.71%), Rashtriya Chemicals & Fertilizers(up 1.59%), Fertilizers & Chemicals Tranvancore(up 1.44%), ZUARIAGRO(up 1.43%) and Southern Petrochemicals Industries(up 1.37%) were among the top gainers.
Nagarjuna Fertilizers & Chem(down 1.76%) and Agro Phos(down 0.23%) were among the top losers.
The NSE Nifty50 index was trading 32.5 points up at 16638.45, while the 30-share BSE Sensex was up 118.2 points at 55587.1 at around 10:45AM.
Tech Mahindra(up 2.99%), Wipro(up 2.87%), Coal India(up 2.87%), HCL Technologies(up 2.51%), Bharat Petroleum Corporation(up 2.13%), Tata Steel(up 1.87%), Indian Oil Corporation(up 1.87%), JSW Steel(up 1.71%), Cipla(up 1.61%) and Infosys(up 1.53%) were among the top gainers in the Nifty pack.
On the other hand, Asian Paints(down 3.55%), HDFC LIFE INSURANCE(down 3.41%), SBI Life(down 1.98%), UltraTech Cement(down 1.83%), Dr Reddys Laboratories(down 1.42%), Kotak Mahindra Bank(down 1.41%), Axis Bank(down 1.35%), Eicher Motors(down 0.87%), Shree Cement(down 0.83%) and ICICI Bank(down 0.81%) were trading in the red.
