Stock market update: Fertilisers stocks up as market rises

NEW DELHI: Fertilisers stocks were trading higher on Friday at 10:50AM

Fertilizers & Chemicals Tranvancore(up 13.16%), Madras Fertlizers(up 7.83%), National Fertilizer(up 7.21%), Aries Agro(up 6.88%), Agro Phos(up 6.60%), ZUARIAGRO(up 6.55%), Gujarat Narmada Valley Fertilizers (up 6.25%), Southern Petrochemicals Industries(up 6.23%), Chambal Fertilisers & Chemicals(up 5.94%) and Madhya Bharat Agro Products(up 5.52%) were among the top gainers.

Sikko Industries(down 4.62%) were among the top losers.


The NSE Nifty50 index was trading 490.75 points up at 16738.7, while the 30-share BSE Sensex was up 1613.59 points at 56143.5 at around 10:50AM.

Tata Motors(up 7.99%), Adani Ports & Special Economic Zone(up 6.28%), Tata Steel(up 5.5%), IndusInd Bank(up 5.44%), Coal India(up 5.13%), Bajaj Finance(up 4.83%), JSW Steel(up 4.76%), Tech Mahindra(up 4.64%), Bajaj Finserv(up 4.58%) and Axis Bank(up 4.4%) were among the top gainers in the Nifty pack.

On the other hand, Britannia Industries(down 0.5%) were trading in the red.
