Stock market update: Fertilisers stocks up as market rises

NEW DELHI: Fertilisers stocks were trading higher on Wednesday at 11:25AM
Sikko Industries(up 4.96%), Southern Petrochemicals Industries(up 4.87%), ZUARIAGRO(up 4.45%), Fertilizers & Chemicals Tranvancore(up 1.93%), Khaitan Chemicals & Fertilizers(up 1.82%), G S F C(up 1.54%), National Fertilizer(up 1.49%), Chambal Fertilisers & Chemicals(up 1.27%), Rashtriya Chemicals & Fertilizers(up 1.02%) and Deepak Fertilizers & Petrochemicals(up 0.87%) were among the top gainers.
Nagarjuna Fertilizers & Chem(down 4.72%), Madhya Bharat Agro Products(down 0.53%) and Madras Fertlizers(down 0.18%) were among the top losers.
The NSE Nifty50 index was trading 250.6 points up at 17427.3, while the 30-share BSE Sensex was up 874.13 points at 58507.78 at around 11:25AM.
Bajaj Finance(up 2.89%), ICICI Bank(up 2.89%), Grasim Industries(up 2.85%), State Bank of India(up 2.34%), Bajaj Finserv(up 2.25%), HCL Technologies(up 2.11%), JSW Steel(up 2.1%), Infosys(up 2.0%), Sun Pharmaceutical Industries(up 1.9%) and Larsen & Toubro(up 1.89%) were among the top gainers in the Nifty pack.
On the other hand, HDFC LIFE INSURANCE(down 1.28%) and Divis Laboratories(down 0.29%) were trading in the red.
