Stock market update: Fertilisers stocks up as market rises

NEW DELHI: Fertilisers stocks were trading higher on Friday at 11:15AM

Aries Agro(up 4.52%), Sikko Industries(up 4.25%), Chambal Fertilisers & Chemicals(up 3.13%), ZUARIAGRO(up 2.97%), Agro Phos(up 2.65%), Khaitan Chemicals & Fertilizers(up 2.54%), National Fertilizer(up 2.53%), Deepak Fertilizers & Petrochemicals(up 2.51%), Fertilizers & Chemicals Tranvancore(up 2.09%) and Madras Fertlizers(up 2.00%) were among the top gainers.

Madhya Bharat Agro Products(down 1.14%) were among the top losers.


The NSE Nifty50 index was trading 155.65 points up at 19012.9, while the 30-share BSE Sensex was up 529.42 points at 63677.57 at around 11:15AM.

State Bank of India(up 2.47%), Coal India Ltd.(up 2.27%), Bajaj Auto Ltd.(up 2.09%), Adani Enterprises Ltd.(up 1.96%), Eicher Motors Ltd.(up 1.89%), NTPC Ltd.(up 1.85%), HCL Technologies Ltd.(up 1.62%), Infosys Ltd.(up 1.58%), Reliance Industries Ltd.(up 1.54%) and Nestle India Ltd.(up 1.48%) were among the top gainers in the Nifty pack.

On the other hand, Dr. Reddy's Laboratories Ltd.(down 0.74%), Hindustan Unilever Ltd.(down 0.25%), ITC Ltd.(down 0.21%) and JSW Steel Ltd.(down 0.03%) were trading in the red.
