Stock market update: Fertilisers stocks down as market falls

NEW DELHI: Fertilisers stocks were trading lower on Wednesday at 11:05AM
Sikko Industries(up 5.00%), KRISHANA(up 2.95%), Deepak Fertilizers & Petrochemicals(up 0.22%) and Aries Agro(up 0.03%) were among the top gainers.
Agro Phos(down 2.38%), Rama Phosphates(down 1.86%), National Fertilizer(down 1.42%), Khaitan Chemicals & Fertilizers(down 1.35%), ZUARIAGRO(down 1.28%), Chambal Fertilisers & Chemicals(down 1.27%), G S F C(down 1.26%), Coromandel International(down 1.18%), Mangalore Chemicals & Fertilizers(down 1.09%) and Madhya Bharat Agro Products(down 0.99%) were among the top losers.
The NSE Nifty50 index was trading 127.5 points down at 17942.55, while the 30-share BSE Sensex was down 449.22 points at 60121.86 at around 11:05AM.
IndusInd Bank(up 2.12%), NTPC(up 1.61%), State Bank of India(up 1.25%), Power Grid Corporation of India(up 1.23%), Coal India(up 0.84%), Mahindra & Mahindra(up 0.78%), Asian Paints(up 0.58%), Adani Ports & Special Economic Zone(up 0.56%), UltraTech Cement(up 0.55%) and Shree Cement(up 0.49%) were among the top gainers in the Nifty pack.
On the other hand, Infosys(down 4.45%), Tech Mahindra(down 3.54%), Tata Consultancy(down 3.32%), HCL Technologies(down 2.39%), Wipro(down 1.83%), Larsen & Toubro(down 1.52%), Hindalco Industries(down 1.52%), SBI Life(down 1.39%), Reliance Industries(down 1.17%) and Tata Motors(down 1.16%) were trading in the red.
