Stock market update: Fertilisers stocks down as market falls

NEW DELHI: Fertilisers stocks were trading lower on Thursday at 10:19AM

Madhya Bharat Agro Products(up 5.00%), Chambal Fertilisers & Chemicals(up 0.61%) and Sikko Industries(up 0.38%) were among the top gainers.

Agro Phos(down 4.99%), Khaitan Chemicals & Fertilizers(down 4.97%), Nagarjuna Fertilizers & Chem(down 4.89%), National Fertilizer(down 3.48%), ZUARIAGRO(down 3.00%), Aries Agro(down 2.91%), Fertilizers & Chemicals Tranvancore(down 2.40%), Rashtriya Chemicals & Fertilizers(down 2.09%), Mangalore Chemicals & Fertilizers(down 2.08%) and G S F C(down 1.93%) were among the top losers.


The NSE Nifty50 index was trading 281.7 points down at 15885.4, while the 30-share BSE Sensex was down 881.24 points at 53207.15 at around 10:19AM.

HCL Technologies(up 0.53%), Tata Consultancy(up 0.13%) and Tech Mahindra(up 0.01%) were among the top gainers in the Nifty pack.

On the other hand, Hindalco Industries(down 4.82%), Hero MotoCorp(down 3.48%), IndusInd Bank(down 3.45%), UltraTech Cement(down 3.37%), Tata Motors(down 3.35%), Adani Ports & Special Economic Zone(down 3.34%), Tata Steel(down 3.28%), JSW Steel(down 3.26%), Grasim Industries(down 3.18%) and Bajaj Finance(down 3.17%) were trading in the red.
