Stock market update: Fertilisers stocks down as market falls

NEW DELHI: Fertilisers stocks were trading lower on Thursday at 11:20AM

Southern Petrochemicals Industries(down 7.54%), Agro Phos(down 6.64%), Nagarjuna Fertilizers & Chem(down 6.33%), Aries Agro(down 5.90%), Madras Fertlizers(down 5.57%), National Fertilizer(down 5.29%), Coromandel International(down 5.24%), ZUARIAGRO(down 5.04%), Fertilizers & Chemicals Tranvancore(down 4.85%) and Madhya Bharat Agro Products(down 4.58%) were among the top losers.
The NSE Nifty50 index was trading 460.5 points down at 16602.75, while the 30-share BSE Sensex was down 1559.32 points at 55672.74 at around 11:20AM.
Hindalco Industries(up 0.87%) and Oil & Natural Gas Corporation(up 0.4%) were among the top gainers in the Nifty pack.
On the other hand, Tata Motors(down 5.49%), IndusInd Bank(down 5.37%), Hero MotoCorp(down 4.3%), Tech Mahindra(down 4.29%), Adani Ports & Special Economic Zone(down 4.25%), Grasim Industries(down 3.93%), UPL Ltd(down 3.6%), Mahindra & Mahindra(down 3.59%), Bharti Airtel(down 3.54%) and HDFC LIFE INSURANCE(down 3.43%) were trading in the red.
