Stock market update: Fertilisers stocks down as market falls

NEW DELHI: Fertilisers stocks were trading lower on Monday at 10:24AM

KRISHANA(up 6.46%) and Khaitan Chemicals & Fertilizers(up 0.51%) were among the top gainers.

Sikko Industries(down 4.92%), Madras Fertlizers(down 4.72%), Nagarjuna Fertilizers & Chem(down 4.53%), Fertilizers & Chemicals Tranvancore(down 4.28%), Aries Agro(down 4.21%), Rashtriya Chemicals & Fertilizers(down 3.54%), National Fertilizer(down 3.35%), ZUARIAGRO(down 3.31%), Madhya Bharat Agro Products(down 3.00%) and Deepak Fertilizers & Petrochemicals(down 2.83%) were among the top losers.


The NSE Nifty50 index was trading 341.25 points down at 17033.5, while the 30-share BSE Sensex was down 1119.9 points at 57033.02 at around 10:24AM.

Tata Consultancy(up 2.27%) and Oil & Natural Gas Corporation(up 2.14%) were among the top gainers in the Nifty pack.

On the other hand, JSW Steel(down 5.16%), HDFC LIFE INSURANCE(down 4.29%), ITC(down 4.28%), HDFC(down 3.82%), Tata Steel(down 3.52%), IndusInd Bank(down 3.35%), State Bank of India(down 3.32%), Tata Motors(down 3.3%), ICICI Bank(down 3.05%) and Bharti Airtel(down 2.9%) were trading in the red.
