NEW DELHI: Fertilisers shares closed in the Friday's session.
Madhya Bharat Agro Products Ltd.(up 4.40%) stood among the top gainers.
Gujarat State Fertilizer & Chemicals Ltd.(down 3.92%), Zuari Agro Chemicals Ltd.(down 3.92%), Khaitan Chemicals & Fertilizers Ltd.(down 3.71%), Sikko Industries Ltd.(down 3.23%), Paradeep Phosphates Ltd.(down 2.92%), Agro Phos India Ltd.(down 2.75%), Chambal Fertilisers & Chemicals Ltd.(down 2.61%), Aries Agro Ltd.(down 2.51%), National Fertilizers Ltd.(down 2.41%) and Rashtriya Chemicals & Fertilizers Ltd.(down 2.14%) were among the top losers of the day.
The NSE Nifty50 index ended 113.15 points at 23092.2, while the 30-share BSE Sensex closed down 329.92 points at 76190.46.
Hindustan Unilever Ltd.(up 2.0%), Britannia Industries Ltd.(up 1.78%), Eicher Motors Ltd.(up 1.77%), Grasim Industries Ltd.(up 1.21%), Tata Consumer Products Ltd.(up 0.86%), Wipro Ltd.(up 0.76%), ICICI Bank Ltd.(up 0.62%), Tech Mahindra Ltd.(up 0.57%), Infosys Ltd.(up 0.54%) and Bharti Airtel Ltd.(up 0.54%) stood among the top gainers in the Nifty pack.
On the other hand, Dr. Reddy's Laboratories Ltd.(down 5.05%), Trent Ltd.(down 4.25%), Mahindra & Mahindra Ltd.(down 2.95%), Adani Enterprises Ltd.(down 2.94%), Bharat Petroleum Corporation Ltd.(down 2.75%), Cipla Ltd.(down 2.74%), Apollo Hospitals Enterprise Ltd.(down 2.55%), Oil And Natural Gas Corporation Ltd.(down 2.49%), Tata Motors Ltd.(down 2.45%) and IndusInd Bank Ltd.(down 2.08%) closed in the red.
