Stock market update: Fertilisers stocks down as market falls

NEW DELHI: Fertilisers stocks were trading lower on Friday at 11:00AM

Deepak Fertilisers & Petrochemicals Corporation Ltd.(up 2.43%), Rama Phosphates Ltd.(up 1.06%), Sikko Industries Ltd.(up 0.77%), The Fertilisers and Chemicals Travancore Ltd.(up 0.75%), Coromandel International Ltd.(up 0.23%) and Madhya Bharat Agro Products Ltd.(up 0.09%) were among the top gainers.

Chambal Fertilisers & Chemicals Ltd.(down 2.64%), Agro Phos India Ltd.(down 2.53%), Bohra Industries Ltd.(down 1.54%), Nagarjuna Fertilizers and Chemicals Ltd.(down 1.39%), Gujarat State Fertilizer & Chemicals Ltd.(down 1.32%), Zuari Agro Chemicals Ltd.(down 1.29%), Rashtriya Chemicals & Fertilizers Ltd.(down 1.21%), Aries Agro Ltd.(down 1.12%), Krishana Phoschem Ltd.(down 0.62%) and Paradeep Phosphates Ltd.(down 0.51%) were among the top losers.


The NSE Nifty50 index was trading 45.41 points down at 22602.8, while the 30-share BSE Sensex was down 290.88 points at 74320.23 at around 11:00AM.

Bajaj Finance Ltd.(up 4.23%), Coal India Ltd.(up 3.63%), Oil And Natural Gas Corporation Ltd.(up 2.6%), Bajaj Finserv Ltd.(up 2.1%), Tata Consumer Products Ltd.(up 1.9%), Grasim Industries Ltd.(up 1.44%), Hindalco Industries Ltd.(up 1.33%), Tata Steel Ltd.(up 1.29%), Shriram Finance Ltd.(up 1.05%) and Bajaj Auto Ltd.(up 1.05%) were among the top gainers in the Nifty pack.

On the other hand, Bharti Airtel Ltd.(down 1.65%), Larsen & Toubro Ltd.(down 1.55%), HDFC Life Insurance Company Ltd.(down 1.33%), Nestle India Ltd.(down 1.09%), Maruti Suzuki India Ltd.(down 1.05%), Hindustan Unilever Ltd.(down 0.93%), Reliance Industries Ltd.(down 0.86%), Tech Mahindra Ltd.(down 0.82%), Adani Enterprises Ltd.(down 0.81%) and LTIMindtree Ltd.(down 0.73%) were trading in the red.
