Stock market update: Fertilisers stocks down as market falls

NEW DELHI: Fertilisers stocks were trading lower on Thursday at 10:09AM

Sikko Industries(down 3.96%), Fertilizers & Chemicals Tranvancore(down 3.94%), Krishana Phoschem(down 3.92%), Aries Agro(down 3.87%), Rashtriya Chemicals & Fertilizers(down 3.84%), Paradeep Phosphates(down 3.54%), Coromandel International(down 3.52%), Madras Fertlizers(down 3.51%), Southern Petrochemicals Industries(down 3.38%) and Deepak Fertilizers & Petrochemicals(down 3.36%) were among the top losers.


The NSE Nifty50 index was trading 185.6 points down at 18936.55, while the 30-share BSE Sensex was down 585.1 points at 63463.96 at around 10:09AM.

Axis Bank Ltd.(up 0.92%), ITC Ltd.(up 0.2%) and HCL Technologies Ltd.(up 0.19%) were among the top gainers in the Nifty pack.

On the other hand, Tech Mahindra Ltd.(down 3.21%), Bajaj Finserv Ltd.(down 2.62%), Mahindra & Mahindra Ltd.(down 2.41%), Adani Enterprises Ltd.(down 2.25%), Hindalco Industries Ltd.(down 2.01%), Bajaj Finance Ltd.(down 1.96%), UPL Ltd.(down 1.75%), Cipla Ltd.(down 1.72%), LTIMindtree Ltd.(down 1.55%) and Nestle India Ltd.(down 1.55%) were trading in the red.
