Siemens shares down 0.34% as Nifty drops

NEW DELHI: Shares of Siemens Ltd. traded 0.34 per cent down in Friday's trade at 11:06AM (IST). Around 1,019 shares changed hands on the counter.

The scrip opened at Rs 3440.05 and touched an intraday high and low of Rs 3468.7 and Rs 3440.0, respectively, in the session so far. Shares of the company of Siemens Ltd. quoted a 52-week high of Rs 4066.1 and a 52-week low of Rs 2692.0.

Total market cap of the Siemens Ltd. stood at Rs 122644.25 crore at the time of writing this report.


Key Financials
The company reported consolidated net sales of Rs 5005.6 crore for the quarter ended 30-Jun-2023, up 0.63 per cent from previous quarter's Rs 4974.4 crore and up 15.42 per cent from the year-ago quarter's Rs 4337.0 crore.

The net profit for latest quarter stood at Rs 455.5 crore, up 51.48 per cent from the corresponding quarter last year.

Shareholding pattern
As of 30-Sep-2023, DIIs held 3.2 per cent stake in the company, while foreign institutional investors held 7.94 per cent and the promoters 75.0 per cent.


Valuation ratio
According to BSE data, the stock traded at a price-to-earnings multiple of 60.06 and a price-to-book ratio of 8.49. A higher P/E ratio shows investors are willing to pay a higher price because of better future growth expectations.
