Siemens shares decline 1.0% as Sensex climbs

Shares of the Siemens Ltd. traded at Rs 3351.35 on BSE at 01:12PM (IST) on Tuesday, down 1.0 per cent from previous close.

The stock quoted a 52-week low price of Rs 2150.75 and a high of Rs 3400.0.

Earlier, shares of the company saw a gap down opening in the morning.


A total of 7,048 lakh shares changed hands on the counter till 01:12PM (IST).

The stock of Siemens Ltd. commands a market value of Rs 119300.29 crore.

The stock traded at a price-to-earning (P/E) multiple of 67.95, while the price-to-book value ratio stood at 8.49. Return on equity (ROE) was at 13.28 per cent, according to exchange data.

In the BSE500 pack, 273 stocks traded in the green, while 228 stocks were in the red.

Promoters held 75.0 per cent in the Siemens Ltd. as of 31-Dec-2022 while overseas and domestic institutional investors owned 6.74 per cent and 8.72 per cent, respectively.
