Siemens shares decline 0.53% as Sensex slides

Shares of the Siemens Ltd. traded at Rs 4003.6 on BSE at 11:57AM (IST) on Tuesday, down 0.53 per cent from previous close.

The stock quoted a 52-week low price of Rs 2798.75 and a high of Rs 4244.55.

Earlier, shares of the company saw a gap up opening in the morning.


A total of 3,103 lakh shares changed hands on the counter till 11:57AM (IST).

The stock of Siemens Ltd. commands a market value of Rs 142270.04 crore.

The stock traded at a price-to-earning (P/E) multiple of 72.55, while the price-to-book value ratio stood at 9.99. Return on equity (ROE) was at 14.98 per cent, according to exchange data.

In the BSE500 pack, 116 stocks traded in the green, while 385 stocks were in the red.

Promoters held 75.0 per cent in the Siemens Ltd. as of 30-Sep-2023 while foreign and domestic institutional investors owned 7.94 per cent and 7.59 per cent, respectively.
